- Heavy metals (copper, zinc, nickel, tin, lead, cadmium) and their alloys,

Description of non-ferrous metal alloys
The first letter is the chemical symbol of the main element, after which the alloy elements are given, and if the element is present in more than 1,5% in the alloy, the number indicating the average content of the element is also added; the symbols are mentioned in a diminishing order according to the content of the chemical element. The kinds of alloys are marked according to their properties, i.e. by means of agreed combinations of letters or letters and numbers. As a rule, the symbol of the main element is mentioned first, and is followed by the symbol of the most prominent additive in the alloy and the number denoting its approximate content.
